A scientist figures out how to ID the racial makeup of a particular donor of DNA. In this case, the sample was from a black serial killer. And folks don't like the technology because "it's racist"?

God forbid we might actually catch the serial killer faster! This technology does NOTHING except help the police zero in on suspects and eliminate bad leads. Where's the downside? Do blacks LIKE living amongst rapists and murderers? (Stupid question... if your name is Jesse or Al, you support them!)

As for it "being expensive", how about the man hours wasted on a completely invalid suspect profile? Oh yeah, the police union will probably oppose this tech being used because it might affect their overtime!
