Fuck The Laws Banning Videocameras.
Pull a gun on a speeder? Sure... why not?
There is absolutely no valid reason for any police officer to fear a videocamera or its recordings’ release. Making and releasing video evidence of any government employees' actions should be sacrosanct in our society.
Every one of us should be pushing our lawmakers to make recording ALL public servants with or without their consent or even knowledge 100% legal in every circumstance.
What possible moral, logical or legal reason can they put forth to justify their fear of public exposure of their actions? If any state actor cannot conduct themselves according to the law, they deserve to have their illegal and unethical actions fully exposed the general public with all appropriate disciplinary actions applying.
We need to get on this posthaste and remove any and all lawmakers that disagree. In full effect, they're arguing that the states' employees are above the law and should be protected from their misdeeds.
That position is complete and utter treasonous bullshit.
And anyone putting forth the notion should be tarred & feathered, horsewhipped and hung.
In that order, though I'm open to considering alternatives like dipping the bastards into boiling oil.
