I believe in liberty for individuals, free speech, free association, not interfering with the internal goings-on of other nations, and honest money (that's non-fiat money Anonymous, though I'm sure you have not a clue what that means)

Once again, for the idiots in my blogging audience: Bush is a fucktard. He's a traitor to his country, has violated his oath of office and deserves to be impeached and hung from the Washington Monument. Then left for the crows to pick his rotting carcass apart.

The Civil War! Where Ron made more reasoned points that NO other major country in the entire world collapsed into a war of aggression (NOT a Civil War, the South seceeded and at that point they were a seperate sovereign nation). But we are to believe that Maher actually made a point there?

Next? Global warming! "NO YOU DON'T!". That's Maher's brilliant defense against Dr. Paul's assertion that reputable scientists are on both sides of the issue. YELLING! IT MAKES YOU RIGHT!

Maher made a joke instead of a point. Then Dr. Paul makes the point that we fight wars in the Middle East over oil. That we shouldn't subsidize big oil. What's to argue there? And there is where the audience started applauding Dr. Paul.

Then Maher tried to say that government is needed for things like health care for veterans, and the audience applauded Dr. Paul again!

Yup! Maher sure exposed him as an evil, hypocritical man! Yeah, if the government was limited and minded its own business, we might have a free country! I know the bulk of the two main parties don't want that in the least, but Dr. Paul does.

Where to start? Okay, I agree Bush is an idiot. I agree that he messed up our country. And yet, the American people (after four years of his antics) still voted him back in. Hard to believe that the INTELLIGENT LIBERALS will prevent any Republicans from being voted back in. And if there are so many more INTELLIGENT LIBERALS than stupid Nazis, exactly HOW was he re-elected?

I would love to see principled folks in both parties elected. But I shan't be holding my breath for that to happen. EVER.
