Tom-aaaaa-toooooeesss!!! (commence with screaming!)

So here are my tomato plants. There are five in all, each with their own "rack".

One's nearly dead all the way to the right. I closed the car door on it and it hung out all the way home from the plant store. I planted both halves and neither seems to be doing well. But the top part without the roots is growing better! Go figure.

The one all the way on the left is a really small Cherry Tomato plant and doesn't seem to be getting any sun. So I don't expect anything from it, either. I may transplant it to the right and see if that will save it, but I already moved it once so I'm hesitant.

The other three are two Grape Tomato plants and one Roma. The Grape Tomatoes are going nuts! Spreading out and invading on the others' turf. But that's okay with me. I just hope I can get a few Romas out of the deal. I just love the Cherry and Grape tomatoes. For breakfast, I take a handful and slice them up and saute them with a little basil, fresh-ground black pepper and some olive oil. Then I take them out, and use them as filling for an omelette. Good stuff. I just need to figure out a nice, exotic spicy sausage to put in there too.

My pepper plants are to the right of the 'maters. They're going great too! If I recollect right, I have three Hungarian Wax pepper plants (semi-hot), one Cayanne (really hot), one yellow bell pepper, two reds and the rest green bell peppers. I pulled two plants out of the dozen or more I planted. And I have tons of flowers budding and a decent number of fruits growing.

Further down, I have pots with 3 types of basil, thyme, peppermint, rosemary and chives going. I love taking fresh stuff out of the dirt and cooking with them. I can't wait to make my Rosemary Garlic chicken again.

Dangit, it's bed time and I'm getting hungry. That's what I get for cutting back on my portions, I guess.

EDIT: HEY! I have weeds again! How the heck does that happen so fast? Quick Charlie Brown impression: "UUUUuuuugggghhhh!!!!"

EDIT OF THE EDIT: It was just one weed, that weird looking thing you can see in the picture. And it was more in the gravel than in the garden, so it doesn't count. I still pulled it, though. Dang thing must have been sucking up SOME of the water I meant for the 'maters.
