Making a Mockery of Being Not With Drunkeness?

Well September 28th was NATIONAL DRINK A BEER DAY so I figured I would have a beer, and some water, and some whiskey.

Cuz whiskey is sort of distilled beer and water is pure non-beer. So I get the full spectrum. So I'm better off, right?

My Brain Hurts...

...because of this:
http://www.rooshv.com/american-girls-dont-use-condoms-anymore.

A dude that supposedly makes a living at getting tail for a living says "Middle class white girls are, hands down, the dirtiest, filthiest type of girl I’ve been with. "

Disparaging them for being filthy while loving their whorish behavior?

And to further enhance the idiocy: porking them without a rubber!

Cognitive dissonance at its best? Or just complete lunacy / idiocy / something else ?

How do I find these things?

"James Lee is Al Gore is Prince Charles is the Unabomber "

Good pieces.

"The modern environmental movement is not kind, caring or gentle. It is a series of ticking time bombs waiting to blow up in our face."
Makes sense. You follow Algore's advice... what's the logical conclusion?

People are pollution. What does one do with pollution? Clean it up.

At least James Lee was being philosophically consistent.

Bravo, Colonel. Brav-Fucking-O.

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=upiUPI-20100823-112700-2345&show_article=1

Throughout my career I have been known to walk that fine line between good taste and unemployment. I see no reason to change that now.

Consider the following therapeutic.

And the fallout:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100827/tc_yblog_upshot/army-colonel-in-afghanistan-fired-for-criticizing-powerpoint

If only we had more such men in command. Sadly, a colonel like this vacating the insanity only leaves more simpletons around.

I swear, Powerpoint is Satan's work. You could convince most upper-management pukes to walk right into a damn blast furnace if you work it out as a slide presentation on Powerpoint first.

I cannot think of a single "all-hands" meeting with PP that has been enhanced by it.

My personal favorite is our "DFAS STRATEGIC VISION". A pile of horseshit buzzwords we are supposed to know by heart.

We were ordered to have a copy of the DFAS STRATEGIC VISION display at our workstation at all times. I folded my copy twice, pinned it to my board and wrote "Display at all times" on the outfacing white square.

Hey, I'm following the letter of the order if not the spirit.

Good Ride This Weekend

So my buddy Jack has been harassing me about riding. And he arranged a get-together for us this Saturday. I almost didn't go. My body was aching Friday and my bike still hasn't been repaired from my spill back in APRIL! (Yes, I'm an idiot.) And the brakes are feeling spongy some.

So of course, I said I would go!

I got up around 730, moaned and laid in bed for at least 30 minutes. But I finally threw myself into the shower and headed to Dunkin Donuts for a quick breakfast.

I met up Jack & Deb, Bob & Dixie and some new folks (Dee & Cindy) around nine. The morning was pretty chilly and I had zipped off the sleeves to my armored jacket. I put my sweatshirt on at the meeting place and figured that would be good enough.

We rode down south on Post Road and then to Franklin Road which leads to (strangely enough) Franklin, Indiana. Then on to Nineveh Road to Nineveh to Dan & Jo Lee's home at Prince's Lakes. Too many lame roads though. Long roads in residential areas with far too many stop signs. I prefer the really hick roads with lousy pavement and nearly NO red octagons.

And I was wrong about my sweatshirt being warm enough. By the time we stopped about halfway for the old folks to stretch a bit, I was shivering.

But anyway... we got to Prince's Lakes and let the old folks catch their breath in Dan & Jo's lovely home. I love houses like that. Homey and in the quiet, relative middle of nowhere. Leaving, I put in my windbreaker / rain liner on my jacket for warmth. Just what the doctor ordered.

Dan knows the area very well, and he led us around the same lake I rode around back in 2006, detailed in THIS post. Heading SW after the lake, we quickly hit some great twisties. We rode down to Story, Indiana and ate at the "Famous" Story Inn. We elected to eat on the patio and I paid $7 for a Brat w/ Kraut, chips, slaw & soda. Not bad, actually (though the lack of spicy mustard should be a crime!).

Unfortunately, I started zoning out on the way home. But I held on and made it safe and sound.

Did about 150 miles, lots of it in twisties where even 35MPH was pushing it. A lot shorter than I would have liked, but considering how tired I got I suppose I should be glad we didn't go farther.

We're expecting to do it again soon. Looking forward to it. Too bad no one took any pictures. We need to make one of the females be our shutterbug.

Oh.... Poor, Poor Obama...

They talk about "him like a dog". My heart, bleeds it does.

Even the weeping pussybag Clinton didn't emote so pathetically as this wretched (likely literal if not legal) bastard.

Sack the fuck up, Mr. Illegal Alien President.

Wow. Just .... wow.

And just once, I want to see the brass toss their bastard piglet wanna-be Nazi moron employees under the bus.

"Yeah, this guy's a fucking moron and we're prosecuting him for an unwarranted assault on a civilian."

Just for variety's sake.

An Amazing Addition for Any Aspiring... Bartender

An attempt at an alliteration ain't always advancing as ah aim at.

Anyway... St. Germain's elderberry liquor. Good stuff. Check that, GREAT stuff.

By its lonesome, it's sweet-smelling, but far less sweet on the tongue than you'd expect from its scent. It adds a strong floral note, as you'd expect. And complexity.

I like the stuff quite a bit, especially in a Gin & Tonic.

I tried a "Parisian Martini" (recipe gleaned from HERE) this evening. I made the vodka variation.

It was... pretty good. Understated; sweet without being cloying. Very complex and almost confusing on the tongue, in a good way. Again, the St. Germain's tastes like it should be sweeter than it is. This makes for an interesting play on your taste buds.

But I think a good dry gin would have served this cocktail far better. I didn't want to use the Bombay Sapphire I have on hand as I thought the Sapphire's botanicals might be too weird with the elderflower.

Anyway, check the St. Germain's site for recipes. I think it's an interesting addition to any liquor cabinet and well worth the money spent.
