A-Rod Just Can't Help Being A Pussy, Can He?

Bad enough Slappy McSlap Rodriguez pulled that pussy shit in the 2004 ALCS... now he's doing more weak crap to try and weasel in a win.

"Replays showed Rodriguez shouting something, and Clark backed off at the last second. McDonald was only a few steps behind Clark, but couldn't make the catch and ball dropped for an RBI single.

"I don't know what my intention was," Rodriguez said. "I didn't say, 'I got it' or anything like that."

Clark claimed Rodriguez called for the ball.

"I heard a 'Mine' call and so I let it go," Clark said. "It wasn't Johnny Mac. What do you do? It makes you mad."

How pathetic. What a scumbag.

Cool 1911 Stuffis

Texas Ranger Charlie Miller was minding his own business when a concerned citizen came up to him, noted the hammer cocked back on the big 1911 dangling from the Ranger's belt, and asked, "Isn't that dangerous?" Charlie replied, "I wouldn't carry the son-of-a-bitch if it wasn't dangerous."

THIS is too cool if true. Scroll up and down for more cool 1911 stories.

I really want an American made 1911 soon. Too bad a lot of other things must take precedence...

Women Just NEVER Cooperate!

Look at this!

From HERE.

"Man's plot to kill girlfriend ends with his death
By staff writers

May 22, 2007 11:52am

A CALIFORNIAN man who tried to kill his girlfriend by leaving her in a car parked across railway lines was himself killed when an oncoming train hurled the car into him as he fled.

His girlfriend survived, the Associated Press reported.

The man drove the car to the head of a line of traffic stopped at a level crossing in the San Fernando Valley neighbourhood of Sunland on Monday, police spokesman Mike Lopez said.

The man, who was seen arguing with the woman, then parked the car on the tracks and jumped out, leaving her behind, Mr Lopez said.

A 450-tonne commuter train hit the rear of the car, launching it into the man.

The girlfriend, who was injured, was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

"She gets hit by a train and lives. He gets hit by his own car and he dies," Mr Lopez said.

No one aboard the train, which was carrying 132 passengers and crew, was injured, a Metrolink spokeswoman said."

Too funny. Not snort-worthy like the cop-brownies thing a few posts below, but close.

What Now?

I was thinking a lot of things over last night... pissed off at myself and the world into which I've stumbled, but mostly roads not taken... and in the middle of my fuming I found a coffee mug that said "Life Isn't About Finding Yourself. Life is About Creating Yourself".

I felt like chucking the mug across the grocery store. Because it was one of those "all too damned appropriate at this particular time" things.

Guess I better get busy, huh?

All-too-insufficient thanks to the adorable DJ. Hopefully I'll actually follow through with something...

Serendipity...or not??? (Definitely NOT!)

No... not the movie. The word essentially means "fortuitous accident". Like using a diving rod to find water, but hitting oil instead.

You know, the kind of cool stuff that never happens to me.

Anyway... today I found myself stuck for over a half hour across the street from Kahn's Wines today. Great store. New location, MUCH more space. They've expanded their stock/selection and offer free tastings of lots of spirits! I'm not sure how that works, but I really need to go back soon to find out. Especially since they offer tasting of their expensive bourbons! (I know I like Bookers, but any free bourbon has to be good bourbon, right?

So I bought the 750ML bottle of Sailor Jerry's spiced rum and, and, AND!!!! got a free pack of SJ playing cards to boot!

Nice score, eh? Not really. Just a very, very tiny bit of serendipity glomming onto the sole of my shoe, giving me a scintillating glimpse of hope before drowning into an eddy of despair. (tip o' the hat to Angel Reese!)

So those were my thoughts late last night. Until I woke up today.

I've only had one hangover in my life. It was after a really, really bad New Year's Eve get-together where I'm pretty certain I had some serious alcohol poisoning. If someone had offered to kill me, I'm quite sure I'd have gladly had them do so.

Today was my second. I felt like crap. I didn't even drink that much of my rum. But here I sit, still feeling nasty at 1am the next night.

I'm never drinking again.

Damn Commie Bastards...

From HERE:

"I've read and I've heard a lot of stories. The indisputable fact is that the company lost its market edge during the UAW strike of 1946 - 1947 that lasted 329 days. Many people have said it was orchestrated by Stalin through the American Communist Party to cripple American industry. Allis-Chalmers was the central manufacturer of industrial
products that were sold to other industries and the goal was to stop this supply. If that story is true, Stalin misjudged American industry. Competitive industries immediately rushed into the gap, while Allis-Chalmers bled cash for a year."

If this is true, it would have been a brilliant strategy for the Commie scumbags to use. Too bad useful idiots back then were so compliant and eager to destroy our country. And too bad we have so many liberal douches being useful idiots today as well.

Unions SUCK. I once had a union rep at my job tell me that EVERY person she represented was in the wrong. EVERY one. But it was her job to keep those losers in the employ of the agency.

Giuliani Sucks Balls...

From here.

What a pig fucker.

From here: "When Congress enacted immigration reform laws that forbade local governments from barring employees from cooperating with the INS, Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed suit against the feds in 1997. He was rebuffed by two lower courts, which ruled that the sanctuary order amounted to special treatment for illegal aliens and were nothing more than an unlawful effort to flaunt federal enforcement efforts against illegal aliens. In January 2000, the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, but Giuliani vowed to ignore the law."

and

"Now comes a new report about Giuliani's involvement with public-private-partnership projects that include NAFTA Superhighway funding and his open borders record on immigration questions, all of which could undermine his otherwise tough policy on terrorism that has resulted from the 9/11 role Giuliani played in managing New York City's response to the attacks on the World Trade Center."

He's another Jorge Bush piece of rat shit, actively working to sell out our country. He went after white-collar criminals on Wall Street for committing no crimes, but ignored invading wetbacks.

"The drop felt like forever.

But as the motorcycle flew off of the James Island connector and toward the Ashley River below, Ben Fischer hung onto the machine, plunging nearly the height of a nine-story building, his helmet flying off as he fell."

"It was Saturday. They planned a night ride, maybe downtown. It was Fischer's first time on the Kawasaki and his first time on a street bike, although he had ridden dirt bikes.

They had just left the Crosstown Expressway, where at a traffic light a man had leaned out of a pickup truck to gently tell them to be careful. Car drivers don't talk to motorcyclists on the road very often, and sometimes not so kindly.

Fischer came off Lockwood Boulevard onto the connector and sped up. At that sharp final crook to the entrance ramp, he tried to kick down to shift from third to second. He didn't hear the click. Langston was behind him.

"I knew he was in trouble," Langston said. "The bike straightened up. He was trying to pull it back, but the dead weight of a motorcycle in neutral is going to take you wherever it wants to."

Fischer caught the bridge rail with the fat of his front tire, flew up it cleanly, like a jump on a dirt bike, he said. He flew some 15 feet straight up then came straight down, the bike levelling out just like a dirt bike jump.

He said he had an instant to think the bike would just smash into the rail and he'd be scraped off or fly into the traffic on the connector. But he landed face first alongside the bike, his arms and legs sinking in the muddy water of the rising tide.

"My face, my whole body was in the water. I thought I was dead for a minute. I blacked out," Fischer said. Then he heard his buddy yelling. He looked up, stunning Langston, who thought he was dead."

Look at those bold sections. The helmet coming off meant it wasn't secured.

First ride, he's riding like that?

He deserves to be dead, big time. What a fucking retard.

On to more motorcycle fun:

Living Alone Will Be The Death Of Me...

When I first moved into my current residence, my ladder collapsed. Literally, the aluminum just folded and I bit HARD on my bedroom rug. It hurt. I lay there thinking, "Man, this HURTS!". And it did.

Luckily, nothing was broken.

I've had a few other mishaps too.

Like when I was on the phone with my brother Dave and my knee just twisted for NO REASON, literally moving the kneecap to the side of my leg. If you've never seen your kneecap on the side of your leg, count your blessings. I screamed like a little bitch and fell to the floor, losing the phone at the same time. I had to literally shove the kneecap back into place, wondering if THIS was the time it would be seriously and permanent damage. Luckily, it weren't.

Then like ten seconds ago, I was walking over to my desk with the PC on it and - being the klutz that I be - I rolled my ankle.

To keep from hurting myself (I guess that's my body's reason for its reaction) I fell to the floor. I missed smashing my chin on the desk by about an inch I reckon.

I figure some day my family will notice I've not been heard from for a week and my corpse will be rotting in the bathtub with two broken legs. Along with mice eating out my eyes and crotch (I hear they like the soft meat best).

Not a pretty picture, but oh well.

Such is the curse of us that don't have wenches handy.

Guess I have to go find one.

Wow. This Is Bad.

From HERE.

I thought this HAD to be fake at first. Long story short, it says that MYSPACE is censoring Ron Paul supporters. I figured... nah. Something else must be happening.

Sooooo... I went onto the login page. Right there was a link to Mitt Romney's MySpace page. So I figured... this video is full of shit.

I logged into my MySpace account and posted (like on the YouTube vid) a quick "test" bulletin.

Okay, a few second later, it was on there for all to see.

Then I posted something like "Support Ron Paul 2008, HE RAWKS!".

Then I clicked to view it. It wasn't there. I refreshed, went to my home page, back to bulletins... it wasn't there.

So I made another bulletin:
"Subject Governor Mitt Romney Is The Best!
Body: I don't believe this in the least. He's an as*hole. Just testing a bu11sh1t theory."

The test and the Romney comments are on my bulletins. The Ron Paul bulletin... well, it must have gotten lost in cyberspace, huh?

Very Good Point

Among many other reasons, Christianity is good for the world because it makes hypocrisy a coherent concept. The Christian faith certainly condemns hypocrisy as such, but because there is a fixed standard, this makes it possible for sinners to fail to meet it or for flaming hypocrites to pretend that they are meeting it when they have no intention of doing so. Now my question for you is this: Is there such a thing as atheist hypocrisy? When another atheist makes different ethical choices than you do (as Stalin and Mao certainly did), is there an overarching common standard for all atheists that you are obeying and which they are not obeying? If so, what is that standard and what book did it come from? Why is it binding on them if they differ with you? And if there is not a common objective standard which binds all atheists, then would it not appear that the supernatural is necessary in order to have a standard of morality that can be reasonably articulated and defended?

So I am not saying you have to believe in the supernatural in order to live as a responsible citizen. I am saying you have to believe in the supernatural in order to be able to give a rational and coherent account of why you believe yourself obligated to live this way. In order to prove me wrong here, you must do more than employ words like "casuistry" or "evasions"—you simply need to provide that rational account. Given atheism, objective morality follows … how?

The Christian faith is good for the world because it provides the fixed standard which atheism cannot provide and because it provides forgiveness for sins, which atheism cannot provide either. We need the direction of the standard because we are confused sinners. We need the forgiveness because we are guilty sinners. Atheism not only keeps the guilt, but it also keeps the confusion.

— Douglas Wilson, from HERE.

Me? I'm an agnostic. I have issues with Christianity. Some are philosophical, some are personal, some are just weird. I go over this stuff in my head a lot.

But over at Vox's folks often stop by and make asses of themselves. Vox's point is the same as Mr. Wilson's; atheists have no objective morality that they can expect to apply to anyone other than themselves.

I would have to agree. It's all well and good for an atheist to say "you have to abide by the golden rule". But at the end of the day, if someone else decides to anally-rape you, eat your liver in a dip and wear your skin as a hat... well, you just have no real basis to object other than your personal preference for continuing to breathe. And - logically and objectively - why should YOUR preference take precedence over his?

After all, it's really just differing opinions.

Mister Bean's Going To Jail!

Okay, THIS is a different Mr. Bean. But still...

"What secret activity went on in the garage of a seemingly friendly, well-liked, balding sixty-year-old Florida man before police surrounded his house and arrested him on two felony charges?

The Palm Beach County sheriff’s department, the man's neighbors, and the man himself – Roger Bean – all agree: the “crime” was making dentures and temporary bridges for grateful customers at a mere fraction of the price dentists charge."

"Mr. Bean calls himself a “denturist.” In some states, you can be a denturist without a dentistry license. But not in Florida. In Florida, at least according to Palm Beach County detective Don Zumpano, if you provide dentures without a license, you're not a dentist, and you're not a “denturist” – you're a felon."

This is the same with nail salons, hair braiding and such. The state wants their cut. And the established industry members want to keep prices higher for their benefit.

If someone doesn't want dentures made in a garage... they won't buy there.

Duh!

Funny AND Painful!

Ancient Ingenuity

From HERE.

"Conquistadors from Spain came, they saw and they were astonished. They had never seen anything in Europe like the bridges of Peru. Chroniclers wrote that the Spanish soldiers stood in awe and fear before the spans of braided fiber cables suspended across deep gorges in the Andes, narrow walkways sagging and swaying and looking so frail.

Yet the suspension bridges were familiar and vital links in the vast empire of the Inca, as they had been to Andean cultures for hundreds of years before the arrival of the Spanish in 1532. The people had not developed the stone arch or wheeled vehicles, but they were accomplished in the use of natural fibers for textiles, boats, sling weapons — even keeping inventories by a prewriting system of knots."

Very interesting article.

We Are ALL So F'ing Dead...

Tip o' the hat to OC HERE.

Terminator-style flying-HK killbots join US, UK forces

"The US Air Force describes it as an "unmanned hunter/killer weapon system". This term might perhaps have been coined by a fan of the classic Terminator movies, in which dystopian future battlegrounds are overflown by murderous Flying-HK death-droids intent on wiping out the last vestiges of human resistance to the machine overlords.

The real-world flying HK is at least as deadly as the ones in the movies, able to lift a hefty 3,750 pounds of munitions. This can equate to 14 laser-guided Hellfire missiles, a smaller number of Paveway smartbombs, or GBU-38 Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs) with their own satnav/inertial guidance."

and

"In a chilling but wholly predictable move, there are moves afoot to dispense with human control altogether. The US Army's forthcoming "Warrior" drone - another Predator variant - won't need a trained pilot at all, as it will be able to land and take off autonomously. "Manual control will be possible," according to the manufacturer (General Atomics of San Diego), but this is scarcely reassuring."

Also: "New UK military communications satellite Skynet 5A goes live"

and: Israelis produce miniature Terminator

HEY! I Said It First...

From HERE: "But the second and deeper response is Christianity itself, at the core of which is a radical refusal to force anyone to do anything." (Tip o' the hat to Vox for leading me there.)

BUT!

I said this the other day. Well... sort of.

From the comments on this thread HERE:

"What kind of vacuous nonsense is this? "Freedom" is a will-o-wisp, chasing it leads to death - which is why the libertarian philosophy is just as insidious a poison as Marxism." ---- Bill

"No moreso than how God set up salvation according to the Bible.

After all, God gives us the freedom to choose self-destruction all we want." --- Michael Maier

Now...

Mind you, I'm an agnostic. But I still think about this stuffis.

I simply don't get why some Christians think it's their place to force anyone to do anything. If God is willing to let me live or die as I please, wouldn't a Christian trying to force me to do anything be claiming a power that their God doesn't even claim as his?

Just thinking out loud. Some more thoughts from that same link:

"Convinced that the choice is solely between fundamentalism and atheism, the vast majority of believers will then be trapped perforce in the fundamentalist camp. Given the ubiquity of faith, given the absence of any civilization in human history that has been free of it, given the evolutionary and biological inclination toward faith, given the respect that a man even as rational as Einstein paid to the "veneration" of the force beyond all of us, your project is absurdly utopian. And like many utopians, you may, I fear, be making hell on earth more likely.

I say this not as a form of prescience but as a matter of hindsight. Although no genuine human civilization has been built on non-faith, in the last couple of centuries, several experiments in atheist and rationalist government were indeed carried out. You may recall the guillotine - synonymous with the dawn of the rational Enlightenment. Religion was also extirpated by force in the Soviet Union and Communist China; it was coopted by the state in Nazi Germany; in Pol Pot's Cambodia, the record of atheism in contrast with religion is quite clear. Atheism will never occur spontaneously among humans in large numbers. But when it has been imposed by force, it has been one of the most violent, evil and destructive forces in human history. Religion has a bloody past that I do not begin to deny. Fundamentalist atheism's is bloodier."

I think that may be because atheists think humans (and their systems/societies) are perfectible. They ain't.

But because elitist atheists are CONVINCED that theirs is the only right way, they'll go to any extreme to try and force their worldview into existence. (Why else try to get religious instruction of children defined as "abuse"? They cry about intolerant Christians but look at the lawsuits filed by atheists. They're more intolerant than anyone. Except the damn Jews. Reminds me of the "New York, New York" parody I thought up once: "Start killing the Jews... I'm starting today...". Ha! Good times... good times... but I digress.)

You can see this elitist attitude throughout 20th century history. No Communist country could have allowed its population to voluntarily choose whether or not to participate. Too many would have chosen themselves over the group.

But in a free country, citizens are free to form co-ops for themselves. No force needed to make the system work.

Eh. Just some typing out loud here...

A Victory For A System With No (Okay, LESS) Sense!

From here.

"Meat, fish, fruit and vegetables can continue to be sold in pounds and ounces in Britain indefinitely, after a U-turn by the European Commission."

I hate the EU. Like most stupid bureaucracies, it constantly seeks to expand its powers beyond those with which it was designed.

But this time, it made the right choice for the little guy. Nice to see.

Though I still wish we used the metric system. It makes a lot more sense. Base ten! Great idea!

Oh well.

The Funny Part Of Liberal Dumbassery...

is that they haven't a clue about the nature of power.

Those that have it, like it. And they typically want more and more, as much as they can take without having to pay a serious price for it.

Sure, you can have your government dictate that you can't discriminate against wetbacks when you sell your house or whatever.

But that very same government will turn on you and fuck your ass into oblivion the second the bureaucrats there feel like they can get away with it. And of course, the second they find a "good reason" to do so.

You know, like maybe you like pot? Or porn, cigarettes, booze, walks in nature, having a pet, pizza or having casual sex.

Whatever your habits or vices, there's SOME group out there lobbying to get rid of it.

Better to keep the government smaller so it's harder for them to fuck anyone.

But such archaic views "just don't work anymore", right?

I just hope the shooting war starts sooner than later.

Or we get a government that just leaves us alone.

Hey, I can dream...

Giuliani SUCKS!

From HERE.

Giuliani is a media creation. Giuliani was unknown until in search of name recognition he staged a stormtrooper assault on the financial firm Princeton/Newport involving fifty federal marshals outfitted with automatic weapons and bulletproof vests. On another occasion he had two New York investment bankers hauled off their trading floor in handcuffs.

Giuliani’s victims had done nothing and were exonerated. But Giuliani’s media stunts served to turn public sentiment against white-collar defendants.

Giuliani once bragged that by giving negative treatment to his targets, "the media does the job for me." Giuliani certainly had no difficulty manipulating Wall Street Journal reporters James B. Stewart, Daniel Hertzberg and Laurie Cohen or The Predators’ Ball author Connie Bruck. Milken, who had done nothing except make a lot of money by proving Wall Street wrong about non-investment grade bonds, was branded the "Cosa Nostra of the securities world."

Milken was set up perfectly for an ambitious and unscrupulous prosecutor like Giuliani.

Giuliani leaked to his media pimps that a 98-count indictment was coming down against Milken. As Milken had done nothing and Giuliani had no case against him, Giuliani’s strategy was to coerce Milken into a plea bargain. When Milken failed to send his attorneys to work out a plea arrangement, Giuliani used Laurie Cohen to report eighteen times in the Wall Street Journal that Milken would imminently face an expanded superseding indictment of between 160 and 300 counts.

Milken’s attorneys concluded that Giuliani, lacking any case, was far out on a limb and desperate for a face-saving plea. They worked out a plea to six minor technical offenses that had never carried any prison time. But Giuliani was determined to have his victim, and Milken was double-crossed by sentencing judge, Kimba "Bimbo" Wood, and spent two years of his life in prison.

Giuliani’s assistant US attorney John Carroll later bragged to Seton Hall Law students that in the Milken case "we’re guilty of criminalizing technical offenses. . . . Many of the prosecution theories we used were novel. Many of the statutes that we charged under . . . hadn’t been charged as crimes before. . . . We’re looking to find the next areas of conduct that meets any sort of statutory definition of what criminal conduct is."

Gee.. he's a big government asshole not afraid to abuse his power? Great. He's just like our asshole president Jorge Busho!

Fuck these big government assholes. He should run as a Democrat. He'd be more honest that way.

"You can’t just walk into a comic book shop and buy a copy of Action Comics #1 in NM.

Would that the same could be said for guns. How’s that for a segue?"

This - from HERE - is amusing, to say the very least.

I WAS going to post all of this on the particular blog whence it came. But I remembered my last comments there and I know it would be promptly deleted as Mr. Peddie prefers to delete contrary opinions instead of addressing them. Because he's so "wise" I guess his opinion cannot go challenged on his blog. (Someone might think about alternative viewpoints! OH NO!) I'm also guessing that he'll see this one way or another.

"So who needs a semi-automatic weapon...a 9-mm Glock 19, say? Nobody - no civilian, at any rate."

Hey Peddie: There were AT LEAST two loaded, deadly weapons at that party you attended last week. Are you terrified in retrospect? If not, why not?

As for "who needs..." the simple answer is "Anyone that needs to shoot someone at any given time". Like when rapists come for your wife and daughter. I'm sure the Wichita Horror victims would have liked to have had a gun or three in the house too.

"The gun nuts will argue that we need guns to defend ourselves against these people, the ones who go on rampages. Nope. That kind of stupid thinking leads to shit like the Cuban Missile Crisis. Then they’ll argue about other weapons, like knives. “What are you going to do, make it illegal to have a knife?”"

There are well over a MILLION defensive gun uses in this country every year where not one shot is fired. Hardly the typed of situation that could escalate into a Missle Crisis. That's so incredibly stupid, it's only worth noting because it's amusing.

And if resisting violence only leads to escalation, how do you explain the ending to Appalachian Law School shootings or how the Utah Mall Shooter was stopped earlier this year?

Funnily enough, Boston was trying to ban machete sales because of wetback gang violence that used them. But that's so silly, to think that knife sales could be banned! Ridiculous!

Quick question #1: How hard it is to buy pot for a college student? How much harder do you really think it would be to buy two pistols illegally were guns totally banned in this country? If you think "it would be really hard", you're quite simply an idiot. The UK has banned guns and their gun crime has gone through the roof. But we can't let FACTS interfere, can we?

ASIDE: Stupidly, the UK's banning of guns came along with a massive coddling of the criminal class, so crooks have virtually NOTHING to fear! The cops there routinely put people defending themselves from attacks - even with corroborating witnesses - IN JAIL! The government actually put out statements recommending that victims of violent attacks ROLL THEMSELVES INTO BALLS TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM BODILY HARM! I can easily see elitist morons advocating such laws here. After all, it's not a rapist's fault, it was "society" that did it, right?

Quick question #2: What's the history of the murder rate in DC since their gun ban started around 30 years ago?

Quick question #3: Why don't criminals rob gun stores? Or police stations? Or gun ranges?

Quick question #4: Why did the Slope attack VT last month? Because he knew his chances of being shot dead by staff or students was virtually ZERO. Because any student caught carrying had to be expelled and any staff carrying fired.

None of this isn't hard to figure out. At all. Unless you're a gun-control advocate like Peddie, Sarah Brady, Hillary Clinton or any other advocate of leaving the citizens defenseless against assault, rape and murder.

Criminals don't like to risk getting shot. They're not completely dim. That's why they LOVE gun bans.

"Because one of the tentpoles of Republican politics (and one of the reasons that the party is so attractive to inbred, uneducated people who have to look north to find the Mason-Dixon Line) is the concept of smaller government - less governmental control over the day-to-day business of those they govern."

Inbred, uneducated Southroners. Funny. Very funny. The toothless hicks down there... they're so fucking stupid! Wow. Original thinking is so fun!

Let's cut to the chase: Mr. Peddie thinks the population (especially anyone not living in a city) is too stupid to even learn how to tend to their own daily lives. And what they really need a boot on their throat to tell them how to live their lives according to the whims of government diktats. Need ANYTHING else be said here? It's his own words that condemn him as someone that desires a totalitarian government. Because the population is soooooooooooo stupid compared to HIM. Not too elitist there, is he?

More: "We need gun laws and speed limits and nutrition labels and ratings on movies and video games because we don’t know enough to make good decisions for ourselves.

So now we know that Peddie never speeds in his car. Anywhere. At any time.

He also must spend a LOT of time pestering managers of every restaurant for their official nutrition guides. Heck, there could be 10% too much fat in his burrito at Don Pablos! Can't order that! It's unhealthy!

He also must not buy food from a street vendor or at Ribfest.

Why? Because they don't have the guides posted! How could he ever know if his Italian Sausage with peppers and onions at the Indiana State Fair is healthy or not? (Oh, wait!!! Can he bring himself to rub shoulders with toothless farmer hicks? No, I wouldn't think him able to bring himself that low. Or are his bigoted comments against country folks just hot air?)

He also must not watch any independent films, like Consternate because it was never sent to the MPAA for a rating! Right?

Or does he really not believe in his own words?

Seriously: I would guess Peddie thinks himself above the law. That HE can decide at 2am whether or not to speed on 465. Why? Because the speed limit is too fucking slow, as everyone knows. But if someone's caught, they "deserve" the ticket. They must! Because they're too stupid to know how to drive!

BTW: "Double nickel" was a bunch of stupid bullshit that the feds came up with in the Carter administration, trying to get the population to use less gas. It has NOTHING to do with safety and never did. I regularly drive at least 70 in a car on 465 without putting anyone at risk. There's nothing immoral about doing so and there shouldn't be anything illegal about it either.

Continuing:
"Evidence? The 2000 general election results from the state of Florida, where five-hundred-odd people marked their ballots incorrectly and helped the Supreme Court to decide that George Bush should be our President instead of Al Gore. Had they had the good sense to pay attention to what they were doing in the voting booth, the most important decision Geroge Bush would have to make this spring would be whether or not to try to get A-Rod back from the Yankees."

This might be funny, were it not so sad to see such ignorance still being bandied about. Everyone that investigated the ballots came up with a GWB win. EVERY news agency, interest group, blah, blah fucking blah.

Now, I actually wish Jorge Bush HAD lost. He's been a DISASTER! Then Gore would have been OUT in 2004 and maybe the stupid ass Republicans would have put up someone worth voting for. Although looking at the coming 2008 elections, probably not.

Back to our "Wise Man":

What drives all of this? A massive amount of contempt for his fellow citizens. And an overblown sense of unearned moral superiority.

If you're reading this, he most likely thinks you're an idiot compared to him. I have NO doubt he thinks I am, especially if he heard my conversation at last weekend's party, described in my last post.

I don't care. At least I don't think I should be putting a gun to my neighbor's head to make him live his life how I see fit.

I don't pretend to be wise enough to know how everyone should HAVE to live.

Apparently, some others cannot begin to imagine themselves with that much humility.

Liberal Pussy Ways

Last weekend I attended a party. And folks were predictably defending the smoking ban in Indianapolis at restaurants (I hate that word, can NEVER spell it right first try, BTW the Mozilla browser's spell-checking function RAWKS!).

I revealed my anarchist, small government ways by saying a few other things that were not well received by a certain party there. Mostly because he had a relative that would possibly be affected by my proposals.

And to that I say: "So fucking what? Get over it!"

I am just so tired of folks thinking that, for some reason, the state should be able to put its neck on the throat of us citizens. Because some guy decides to run a business, it's okay to dictate to him how to do so? BULLSHIT!

Just for the record, I am against government-mandated:
- smoking bans
- trans-fat bans
- handicapped parking
- handicapped accommodations of ANY sort
- zoning for parking lots (making Kohls, Home Depot and Sam's Club have ridiculously-large NEVER full parking lots)

I also think if a guy owns a piece of property (be it a store, bar, whatever) he should be able to put up "No Niggers Allowed" signs as big as he wants. And be able to legally bar them from entering without having to worry about some faggot lawyer suing him for "discrimination".

Why? Because: It's HIS property and I believe in free association. **

What's that? Simple. It's the right to associate with whomever you wish. And if you have that right, you also have the right to disassociate with whomever as well. That means you do not have to deal with anyone unless you wish to.

If a black man puts up a "NO CRACKA HONKIES HEER -- DEYS WILL BE SHOT IF DEY DO BE ENTERIN", I'd be the first to say "Good show."

After all, it's HIS property!

"Liberals" (actually pro-totalitarians, NOT liberals) are pussies (derived from pusillanimous, not genitalia). They are scared of a world where they can't force everyone to play nice. They do NOT believe in free association, free speech or freewill.

They're terrified if "In God We Trust" is on a public building from 200 years ago, but demand that you accommodate Wetback Faggots making out in a booth of YOUR restaurant.

They want tolerance for everyone, except for folks they don't like. In which case, those people should be put forcibly out of business by the police.

They're pussies. They want a life without risk or emotional discomfort.

It's pathetic and cowardly. Plain and simple.

* - If these things were such good ideas, folks would do them without government intervention if THEY thought the ideas would benefit their business.

** - None of this is to say that there might not be repercussions for discrimination. If I put up a "No niggers" sign and the local blacks decide that's offensive, they should have the right to boycott my ass so long as they do not trespass or inflict damage upon my property; nor restrain anyone from entering or leaving.

You know, that whole property rights and free speech thing is SUCH a bitch, right?

From My Cold, Dead Hands...

Read THIS first.

I hate GFW's (Gun Fearing Wussies). Exactly how would 911 have helped this guy if he didn't have his shotgun? And what if his attacker had the foresight to clip his phone line?

"I don't judge, that's not my place in the cosmic scheme of things, Jesus died as much for the criminal as he did for me, but if they try to harm anyone under my protection, i'll send 'em to someone who CAN judge 'em.

May God have mercy on their souls 'cuz I sure won't."

This story reminds me: I need a shotgun and a big dog.

Another Casualty Of The "War" On Drugs

From here.

So this man tried to run off "drug dealers" that were actually cops trespassing on his property to conduct their sting operation and they shot him dead.

Something is beyond fucked up here.

"Police said Singletary was shot at least once before going to his backyard, where police shot him again after ordering him to drop his weapon."

One MIGHT think that the cops should have reassessed the situation after shooting him the first time, considering they were ON HIS PROPERTY!

Or am I just a lunatic?

Why, Oh Why...????

Do I think of Rachal every time I hear Cartman on South Park commercials?

Stupid Sluts, Mewling Once Again...

The whore HERE is whining about racism. Again.

The article is useless. It never once ACTUALLY accounts for credit history or other factors. It gives NO evidence of real discrimination, just whines about blacks paying more. And acts as though this is evidence of something.

Much like the hand-wringing about black teens offing one another in downtown LA, the cry of "RACISM" adds nothing to the conversation.

The source of the whining is from THIS article. There have been plenty of these articles in the "news" before, regarding mortgage rates being unfairly raised to blacks.

But when all factors were actually accounted for, even BLACK-RUN banks in LA charged blacks there higher rates.

Why? Because it was good business for risky loans based on the amount borrowed, the value of the object the loan was for and the borrower's credit history.

But why should facts get in the way of the Washington Times screaming "racism" once again?

And, just for shits and giggles, why would anyone think that lenders are going to give wetbacks a better rates than blacks?

By The Way...

I'm not THAT much of a slob, Justin.

I wore the same shirt two nights in a row. But the first night, it was only for about 4 hours, then I went home and took it off.

So I wore it tonight too.

Well, thinking about it, I AM that much of a slob after all.

Just not about THAT in particular.

Ever Feel Like Registering To A Forum Just To Get Banned?

I was intrigued by Nate's assembling of a 1911 "from scratch" and thought about saving money and becoming intimately familiar with a gun by doing so myself.

So I went over to a 1911 forum and found THIS thread asking this question:

First, do you live in a State with a 'must notify' rule?
Second, if not...do you notify anyway when encountering a cop?"

This was the last response:

"Having been both a street cop and a Fed for 36 years, most of which were in NYC I can tell you that the vast majority of folks I come into professional contact with have little or no common sense. If you are armed and notify me of such I am just happy to be dealing with someone who is not a moron. You would have to do something serious not to get a pass from me. On the other hand whether you're in a non disclosure state or not, if you do not let me know and I find a gun, I will make your life a living hell. As far as I am concerned you have put both of our lives in jeopardy and I will make sure you receive some remedial training. I'm an old fart, if you get a new LEO who knows what will happen. They are taught to be polite and politically correct, so it's a crap-shoot."

Let's dissect his moronic rant: "you have put both of our lives in jeopardy"

How? By allowing the possibility that he might freak out and overreact during a search? How else could he mean it? Glad to read that he has such a high opinion of his own self-control under stress.

"and I will make sure you receive some remedial training" Really? Wow. I'm glad that this cunt is a judge and in the position to MAKE someone do something, as opposed to gathering evidence and presenting it to a jury.

You almost have to pray that this is a fake post from someone posing as an officer of the law. If he's real, he can't wonder why folks hate cops, can they?

What a pretentious mother-fucking bitch. His job is to protect my rights. He's SWORN to protect the Constitution and he thinks like this?

Just one more reason I don't care much at all when cops get shot on the job.

What a sorry piece of work. I would love to hear about him going off on some liberal governator's son and getting fired for his punk-ass behavior. It would be a major case of "Good Riddance!".

The WORST? Not Hardly!

From here.

"From ABC's apple crumble to Oasis' cannonball, a radio station has compiled the top 10 songwriting howlers."

They put "War Pigs" as number 8?

WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT?

"Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses"

Someone needs their balls cut off for this song making the list. My favorite anti-war song ever. If those voting had a fucking clue, they'd know the generals are meant to be serving Satan. Duh.

NOT that those two lines are brilliant poetry. But I can think of tons worse than that.

Besides, they forgot the Police's "Don't Stand So Close To Me":

"It's no use
he sees her
he starts to shake and cough
Just like the
old man in
that book by Nabakov"

Which, BTW, is THE WORST SONG LYRIC EVER! It makes me cringe to hear it every damn time. Pretentious and just AWFUL!

And I LIKE that song.

BTW: Best lyric ever: "you wear those skin-tight dresses with your g-string
tuned to A". From Whitesnake, "Kitten's Got Claws" from the "Slip of the Tongue" (The very first CD I ever bought).

Anyone That Supports This Stuff Deserves To Be Blown Up

Messed Up Racial Crime Stats...

"These specific facts about the Bell shooting are just a few of the hundreds of thousands of data points that reveal a hard truth: any given violent crime in New York is 13 times more likely to have a black than a white perpetrator."

From HERE.

Heather MacDonald writes great stuff on NYC crime. She's not afraid to call out PC stupidity when she sees it.

I don't like cops as a rule. Their attitudes SUCK and way too many of them are on serious power trips.

And I am sympathetic to blacks griping about stereotyped. But, sooner or later, reality intrudes.

If you're a young black man, expect to be looked at as a suspect. Especially in shitty areas of town. It's better to be more cautious when dealing with cops then wind up dead because you're fronting and the cops panicked.

I am growing to despise the tactics cops use, but if I'm pulled over I'm keeping my hands visible and my demeanor calm even if I'm essentially telling him to fuck off.

************************
Some more on racial crime stats...

"Looking at the numbers more closely, blacks are about 11 percent of the city’s population, but in 2006 they were 36 percent of its murder victims and 40 percent of its known murder suspects. Latinos make up 46 percent of the city’s total population and were about half of its murder victims and suspects. Whites are about 29 percent of the population in Los Angeles but last year were only 4 percent of the city’s murder victims and 2 percent of its known murder suspects."

Mull those numbers over in your head for a few minutes. They're staggering when you think about it.

Blacks are over-represented as murder suspects by a factor of 3.6.

Whites are UNDER-represented by a factor of 14.5%.

I'm not statistician (so I'm sure I'm not using the correct terminology), but that looks REALLY bad.

OH YEAH, BABY! Zappa Comes To INDY!

I attended a wonderful concert last December. Here's my review I posted on a few sites right after the show:

"Oh my goodness! What a show! I just bought my ticket a few days ago on Ticketbastard. I wasn't planning to go, but I did a ticket search and got 2nd row, stage right! So I really had to.

The Louisville Palace is a nice place, decent seats and good sound. The bass was way too low for my tastes, though I notice right up front usually isn't that good of a place for the best mix. So I don't know if that's "the mix" or if I were seating further back I would have liked it more.

Now, I'm not a Frank Zappa fan. I own ZERO Frank Zappa recordings except for a VHS copy of "Zappa's Universe", which is... strange to say the least. But the music they selected was incredible.

Steve Vai is my favorite musician ever. And Dweezil's "Z" band plays some of the sickest stuff I've ever heard from a rock band. But this stuff... I really see where Dweezil, Vai and Keneally get their sensibilities from. Incredible. I like the whacked out tonalities and the odd-times fly by like mad.

The band... what can you say. Everyone looked so comfortable playing some of the most complex music I've ever heard. How the whole band plays these seriously ODD times... I heard zero clams all night. Everyone looked EFFORTLESSLY excellent. Except Napoleon, who looked a little winded and was pouring out sweat.

And Vai, of course, who was grimacing like the metal god he is.

Dweezil looked cool as a cucumber while whipping out some serious chops. The kind that make me burst out in laughter from sheer joy. (I LOVE those moments!)

The only letdown was that Dweezil didn't do the video "duet" with Frank that I'd heard about. I think I heard that technical problems were plaguing them and they understandably pulled it. Oh well.

The HIGH POINT? Vai playing right in front of me for the parts he showed up for. The HIGHER point? Getting a pick from him! He threw it and no one could find it. I thought for sure it was right in front of me, so did everyone else.

Later, when the lights came up on stage, I saw it under the seat of the guy sitting next to me and I snatched that baby right up.

A great show. I think there are a few dates left, catch them if you can.

And Dweezil said they're going to try to make this an annual thing. I hope they do. I'll catch it again, and (like he said) try to bring some friends."

I know it's been almost four months, but who cares?

Also, the pick that I got? Well... when I got home, my brand new Ibanez Euphoria EP9 acoustic was sitting in a box in my driveway. That pick stays right inside. Hopefully some "Vai"-bes will rub off."

And now they're coming HERE! To Indy!

NO ONE comes here! I'm very stoked. I cannot wait to buy my ticket and I cannot wait to watch and hear this amazing band play again.

It seems like a smaller band this time, without Steve Vai or Terry Bozzio, but it's going to be amazing regardless.

IT'S GONNA RAWK!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t have to declare that failed or oppressive cultures are as good as mine. I don’t have to say that everyone’s special or that the rich cause poverty or that all religions are a path to God. I don’t have to claim that a bad writer like Alice Walker is a good one or that a good writer like Toni Morrison is a great one. I don’t have to pretend that Islam means peace."
