At first I was mad that you pointed out something ELSE stupid in the SW universe: the use of non-clone officers in an Empire of Clone Troopers.

But it makes sense. The Stormtrooper clones were deteriorating so their officers HAD to be replaced with normal humans. And none of those had any military experience since the previous wars were waged with the clones.

So you had the lame-ass stupid bureaucrats running the Imperial Forces and incessantly pissing Vader off. And since they're really worthless anyway, why not kill them off?

Lucas is so brilliant!! I'm sure he had all of this stuff thought out back when he wrote ANH. (That's "A New Hope", the original 1977 Star Wars for you non-geeks out there.)
