A Halo 3 Multi - Player Idea

I think a Halo 3 Drinking Game Tournament would be cool.

$20 entry fee. As many 360s hooked up via Ethernet as possible.

Random teams to start, flip a coin. Heads, red team. Tails, blue team.

All slayer matches with the members of the losing team all doing a shot or chugging a beer after each round.

You total up your killing score from each round and write it down to keep a running total.

Then the teams are shuffled with the top half of scorers on one team and the lower half on the other.

You play until someone reaches 1000 kills or all but one pass out. Losing team gets the odd man out caused by passers out.

This would be awesome for a weekend guys-only party.

Crap... reading that site, I just found out that if you earn all 1000 gamer points on Halo 3, you get the Security Armor. Now I have to really step up my playing! This is going to be a serious pain in the ass to achieve.

I just wanted to brag that I've wasted hours of my life playing Halo 3. I broke a level 35 tonight, so I have guaranteed that if I keep playing til I get 300 wins, I will have my Commander rank waiting.

Now getting up to 40 is ... possible, 45 is very unlikely and 50 virtually impossible. But what's life without a challenge, right?

EDIT: Earned my Major this weekend too. I'm on my way. And I got up to level 38 on slayer before getting knocked down to 36. But we've got time. And if we don't, we have bigger things to worry about, right?

My ******* X-Box 360 told me my ethernet adapter was not hooked up. I spent a half hour playing with cables.

Then when it started working, it told me "New update for your X-Box is available and you must download it now."

Sure enough, put all the cables back the way they were originally, everything worked perfectly.

Fuckers. They can't tell you, we're down for a few minutes.

They have to lie and tell you your cables are bad.

Outsourcing Is A Cost Savings Measure?

Hell if I can tell! I just spent nearly a half-hour trying to remove an expired Mastercard from my XBox Live account. Sounds like it SHOULD be simple, right?

Nope.

I had to explain it to the bush-league person first.

Then her specialist and supervisor.

Then to the account manager / supervisors' supervisor.

The third time, they read back what I wanted them to do, and it was the wrong credit card they were going to cancel.

The hold music was beyond bad. It was like music a computer would make for pornos.

God, I really hate outsourcing.

My next PC purchase is going to be for whichever PC-making company still has tech support here in the United States.

Idiots.

But as bad as their accents are, they speak better Engrish than almost any woman in my office.

UPDATE: I did what I needed to do online. I figured if I couldn't do it on my X-Box, I would not be able to fix it with my PC. I was wrong and it was done instantly, instead of having to wait the "5-10 business day". I hate corporations...

I bought this since I read some review raving about it. I didn't even really read the review in depth, just popped onto Ebay and found it for something like $10. So I bought it. And it's been sitting in my living room for months, unplayed.

Until this weekend.

I love this game. You play Razz, short for "Rasputin". A young teenaged-psychic-hero-wanna-be. You start the game by popping uninvited into a summer camp for secret psychic operative trainees. And you learn your craft, getting new powers, becoming more skilled, etc.

It has a wonderfully twisted sense of humor about it as you travel around the camp and on into the minds of various others. I have a good time doing it too.

Go buy a used copy. NOW!! I don't think it will disappoint.

It's also kid-safe (at least what I've played so far) although parts might be too hard for younger ones.
