Good Stuff!

I find it immensely amusing that PC thing to say is "Power to the people!" when in the EU, the people are ignored and refuted at nearly every turn.

It makes me sad that these arrogant bastards are going to wreck the world economy. But I hope it happens sooner rather than later and that the people of the world lay the blame exactly where it belongs:

On central planning of every kind and fiat currencies. If you don't know what those are, educate yourself over at www.lewrockwell.com and www.mises.org.

John Mayer is a Douchebag...

...and one funny bastard. I'm probably way late in discovering this, but it's still funny.

I already like the dude for "Two Guys and a Cup" (previously mentioned on this blog) but I have to tip my hat to the dude again.

I Know... I Know...

For late 80's cheese with a twist...

Paul Gilbert is just too f'in cool. I keep meaning to buy his solo stuff, but my list of "CD's I Want To Buy" is so big that... I don't have an apt comparison.

So Of COURSE I Only See The Last One...

I was reading my email after I got home from a 16oz Sirloin dinner with my parents, nephew & sis-in-law. I dawdled and took too long to switch on the game.

So what did I miss? FOUR HOME RUNS IN A ROW!

shit

I turned on the game and only got to see Tech knock the fourth homerun in a row in tonight's game.

Man! But at least I got to see the 3 game sweep of the Yankees finish up. That hasn't happened for the last 17 years, so that was very cool.

AND! AND! AND!!!!! I think this should shut a certain Mr. Rachal up nicely, even if Dice-K didn't kick ass so much.

(Aside: I love ESPN's team for this game tonight. They were very humourous and enjoyable to listen to.)

Yeah, This Guy About Covers It.

http://www.kansascity.com/159/story/66339.html

"I don’t listen or watch Imus’ show regularly. Has he at any point glorified selling crack cocaine to black women? Has he celebrated black men shooting each other randomly? Has he suggested in any way that it’s cool to be a baby-daddy rather than a husband and a parent? Does he tell his listeners that they’re suckers for pursuing education and that they’re selling out their race if they do?

When Imus does any of that, call me and I’ll get upset. Until then, he is what he is — a washed-up shock jock who is very easy to ignore when you’re not looking to be made a victim." (Emphasis mine)

Tip o' the hat to Luke for putting this in my comments earlier.

Great column.

Bill Maher Is An Ignorant ASS.

Bill Maher is a total asshole. His ignorance is on parade big time on this clip. Ron Paul acquits himself very well despite an idiotic display on Maher's part. Maher claims to be a libertarian, but he's just another idiot leftist that wants pot legalized and big government left to fester.

Everything Maher said was shot down calmly, easily and quickly. Even when Maher tried the O'Reilly trick of yelling louder with fake outrage. The audience seemed to love Ron Paul too, by their applause.

I hope Ron Paul gets "savaged" like this more often.

That way, he might actually have a chance in the primaries. He's a great man and a lonely voice in our government.

Libertarians can easily destroy almost every argument either Democrats or Republicans can offer. Most of the time, using their opponent's own arguments against them.

It's likely a vain hope, but here's too many more true libertarians running for office.

Another good clip:

How Weird My Music Is...

My Mike Keneally "hat" CD started skipping while using Media Player at work and I realized that if you didn't know the tunes, you might not be able to tell the difference.

It Might Be Like Ron Paul With Tourette's!!

http://www.sobran.com/columns/2007/070308.shtml

"Imagine a presidential hopeful buying TV time to look us in the eye and say, “Listen up, you faggots.” Such a man could bring this country together. He’d be assured of plenty of media buzz. He might be harder to ignore than, say, Louis Farrakhan."

Funny article.

Some Nice To See Sort Of News...

Good on them!

"Maine’s state legislature resolved almost unanimously last week that it will "refuse... to implement the REAL ID Act...." As if that weren’t enough, it "implores the United States Congress to repeal the REAL ID Act..."

Except they should have left "Honorable" off of the tail end of this fine document. It only besmirches the idea of honor to attribute it to these asswipes.

A Decent Way To Run A Blog

Here's a quote from Vox that I really like:

"Silly me for thinking you may not be aware of this aspect of the discussion.

Actually, I quite appreciate the way you guys hang out here and do your part in keeping me sharp. I want the atheists and agnostics here to slash and burn whenever they see an opening, as my sensei used to tell me, if you see the shot, take it!

Of course, I THOUGHT I had the shot a lot more often than I actually did. Sneaky bastard enjoyed laying traps for the insufficiently wary.

I don't care if anyone agrees with me, I just want everyone here to be intellectually honest. If you get shot down from time to time, so what? Get back up and look sharper next time." --- VD

Vox allows anyone to make comments, other than those that have been banned. And in the at least four years of reading his blog I've seen less than a dozen. Probably less than half a dozen. Considering he writes for www.wnd.com and attracts the attention of such national radio homos as Michael Medved, he likely gets a lot of lurkers on his blog.

Vox doesn't cowardly delete comments because they don't agree with his viewpoints. He challenges them to logically back up their smack-talking. If the refuse to answer direct questions, he bans them. But that's fair. Why should he endure idiots that just spout liberal douche talking points?

I admire his ability to remain humble and say "I don't know, let me look into that". I also like how he relentlessly slaps down non-PC-BS. He writes columns that are fun to read and beyond my ability to refute.

I just really hate blogs that talk smack, can't back up their trash-talking, LOOK STUPID and then delete your comments because they know they cannot even begin to address the logic behind them.

http://feministe.us/blog//
and
http://www.pandagon.net/

are two perfect examples. I picked them because they're semi-famous in blogdom and they're both hysterical, stupid and bitchy femherroids (that's feminist to those that don't know). You can post comments. But if those comments don't walk the line, they're NEVER approved. The c**** that run the joint are intellectual featherweights. They can link to the Gutmacher (sp?) Institute and that's about the limit of their intelligence.

I always picture these femherroids as this chick that I met once. Short and fat, she refused my brother's offer to walk her to her car in a parking garage at 2am since "She can handle herself". Yeah... right. I doubt any attackers would sit still long enough for you to sit on them, honey. Maybe she figured any rapists would look at her and say "Man, even I have standards..."

I'll make Jorge's enemy list yet!

"What would happen if a president just refused to go? To remove him, someone would have to act. Who? Little would be necessary to stop a coup, granted. A couple of helicopters of Marines landing across the street from the White House would be enough. The various federal police bully civilians well (ask Steve Hatfill *see the end of this post), but would find fighting real men another thing. But who in the military would have the courage to do it?"

The rest of the piece.

Take the time to read all of Fred's columns on the left. Great stuff. I don't agree with it all, but the man has lived a Hemingway-esque life.

I just have to remember to buy one of his books and see if it's worth the cash.

* Steve Hatfill is the accussed anthrax killer... strange we haven't heard much about that lately... Wiki Entry I somehow doubt the feds wouldn't have gotten a death penalty conviction by now if they had a shred of evidence.
