Good For Texas

From LRC. Texas is set to put to sleep one murdering Wetback, despite the Feds, the UN and other pussified bastards all opposing them doing so.

I sincerely hope the scumbag repents and then is put down like the mad dog he is. I personally oppose the death penalty, but not for practical reasons. I think the DP is perfectly appropriate in some cases (like this one), but I simply do not trust any state to enact their justice in anything resembling a competent manner. Too many DA, cops and judges are foul bastards that will lie, cheat and steal to get their way.

(See HERE and HERE)

For an especially egregious example of how the bastards lie, click HERE. I must warn you that this is a truly foul example of just how low our foul military "justice" will sink in CYA situations. I actually was stunned to read this and laughed out loud at the extreme absurdity of it all (the 2nd to last paragraph to be specific). Everyone involved in this crime and its cover-up deserves to burn in Hell.

The sickest part is that for someone to try and pull of a cover-up THAT sickening means that they most likely have practice and have pulled off something similar in the past. Let that sink in for a moment.

And make sure you tell any female thinking about the military that she's an fool. Something like that takes a LOT of folks to be "in on it". It stinks on ice and has to involve some major brass to go so far. Send her that article and make sure it sinks in. It might save her life.

What WAS This?

Doing more blogging since Shane's whinging...

Came home yesterday and this:

was in my driveway. I'm not sure, but I think it was dead. I'm really not for sure cuz it was gone this morning. I didn't scoop it up cuz it was raining when I came home last night.

First (and HAPPY!) thought was that it was a cat. But the claws don't look right to me. I looked up possums and their feet/paws don't look the same either. Other than that I'm clueless of what sorta critter it could be.

It was about a foot long, BTW.

EDIT: Holy shit, is that a dog? I sure hope not. I hate to think what around here coulda done that to a freaking dog.

EDIT 2: Found it. Whatever was munching on it pulled it into the space between my garage and the fence. It looks more worked over now and reeks pretty freaking bad when you get close enough to take a pic. I'm back in the house typing this and I think I'm going to vomit.

*POOF*

And she's gone. A co-worker of mine dropped dead in our office right before I got to work this morning. She had a heart attack right there in her cube and died.

It seems so unreal. She wasn't a friend, but it really does make you think. I'm reflecting on my life and wondering about close calls I've had on my motorcycle and other events that could have easily led to my... departure.

My legacy would be underwhelming, to say the least. And I'm wondering about my afterlife too.

Jesus said many that called out "Lord, Lord!" would not be chosen. And even some of those that cast out demons in HIS name would not be up in Heaven. Makes you wonder if your soul is REALLY ready. If you are truly worthy of His Grace.

Me... I have my doubts. I wish I didn't. My best friend didn't seem to like this line of inquiry tonight one bit. But these questions remain.

But I'm dead tired and emotionally drained. So what do I know, really?

Creepy Thoughts...

When I first moved into my current house, I got up on a stepladder to put some boxes up on a shelf. The dang ladder proceeded to collapse under me (I weighed less than 200 at that point). I banged up my leg and exchanged the ladder for a new one.

But I couldn't stop thinking "What if I broke my neck and no one was here?" Especially since I walk about in my boxers almost the entire time I'm home. Unless I doing renovation work or I'm expecting company.

I break my neck, lie dead for a week, stink up the place and I'm half-eaten from bugs and mice and still only in my boxers except for the extra holes the mice eat through to eat my gonads first. (Eyes & gonads are the first to go.)

I think I worry about this far too often. But then again, I'm half-blind and have a trick left knee. Hmmm... I guess I should go adopt a 17 year old Korean chick... to give me peace of mind. And to clean house. And my pipes. Mmmmmmm.... "Kimchee, hungry for more Bulgogi? I know you love the special sauce!"

I should really lay off the late night blogging. I only mentioned this because I tripped over my motorcycle helmet on the living room floor, precisely where it should NOT be.
