But Stewart is being completely naive himself. Why in the world should anyone take MSNBC or Mad Money at face value? Skepticism is called for at all levels. Comedy Central answers to folks too. Maybe they're shorting MSNBC stock and making dough off of this performance. Who knows?

Wall Street didn't do this by themselves. The simple fact is that they COULD NOT do it by themselves. Wall Street cannot destroy the dollar without the Fed's involvement. They can destroy the stocks, but not the dollar itself.

And yes, John: toxic mortgages indeed had a very large part in all this financial meltdown too.

And anyone investing expecting their stock funds, 401K's or whatever to always go up is just stupid. And greedy. Stewart did get it right to say hard work gets you ahead. The real bitch of it is that working hard, living within your means and paying your bills right now is likely to have you watching your irresponsible neighbors get Free Obama Cash to help with their mortgage while you have to struggle and watch any savings you have get wiped out by inflation.

No one but the Austrians seem to have called this meltdown in advance. But the Keynesians sure spout plenty of stupid bullshit about how to fix it. How wise is that approach?

There is no "middle" here. This is a truly evil position. That this happens in our country makes it a mockery to call ourselves "civilized". And foul bitches like Whoopie Goldberg have the nerve to call Dr. Ron Paul a liar on abortion.

These liberals don't even have the balls to defend this in broad daylight. Instead they call those telling the truth - about their on-the-record statements - liars. And the MSM spreads the misinformation without a hint of shame.

Like I said over at Josh's, if the MSM were truly objective instead of the lying bastards that they are, no Democratic president since Carter would have ever been elected. And most of Congress wouldn't be sitting there either.

It's like Michael Jordan and Shaq in the NBA. They KNOW they'll get the favourable calls by the officials. So they do things shamelessly to work the system. Democratic candidates do the same, without fear of being called on their actions and lies.

It's quite pathetic that the situation continues.

I actually was stunned to read this and laughed out loud at the extreme absurdity of it all (the 2nd to last paragraph to be specific). Everyone involved in this crime and its cover-up deserves to burn in Hell.

The sickest part is that for someone to try and pull of a cover-up THAT sickening means that they most likely have practice and have pulled off something similar in the past. Let that sink in for a moment.

And make sure you tell any female thinking about the military that she's an fool. Something like that takes a LOT of folks to be "in on it". It stinks on ice and has to involve some major brass to go so far. Send her that article and make sure it sinks in. It might save her life.
